Glitch Storms

I've heard tell of glitch storms, times in LEGO Universe when everything messes up.
I actually encountered one of these in Nimbus Station. For some reason, everyone disappeared, and I was the only one in Nimbus. I actually had to keep playing until it finally decided something was wrong and crashed, then it was over when I logged back on.
Why do you think these storms happen? What's the worst one you have encountered? Post your thoughts here.

Those storms happens always on weekends or on fridays, mostly on this hour.
I have encountered many of them.
That does remind me of the one in AG. We had to take a secret way to get out the monument but nobody wanted to follow us because they were in need of the purple bricks. The only problem is that there were no mechs, only there 100's of turrets.
