LEGO UNIVERSE IS OPEN!!

I AM IN!!! I cannot describe the first few minutes adequately.. but it was very exciting.
There was a start up video when you sign in, that most people have seen by now, and then I made and named my Minifigure. My temporary name is Pretty Swanky Zebra!!
After make your figure and click play, there is a great video that lays the background for the LU story.
The original planet where the Nexus of imagination resides is shaped exactly like a Borg Cube!!
It is narrated by someone who sounds just like or is Sir Patrick Stewart aka Captain Jean-Luc Picard. And then you arrive on the spaceship...

The intro was epic! The biggest con they added with the new patcher werethe minifig faces. They only stay that way now on...

That sounds pretty noice. *Must....resist...urge....to go out and buy it*

So, are there any new locations?

I'm still at Avant gardens, so IDK.

Ah, okeeday. Worlds not in beta will be what drags me into buying the game. So I shall wait on that.

I wish I could play the game.

I just got to AD and I have already seen things not in BETA..but not worlds yet, of course.
That may have to wait, since I stayed up all night to play in the first opening minutes..

Well, I'd have to expect that. They couldn't release it exactly the same as the beta, or there'd be a whole lot more people like me. =p

Lol me too I heard there was supposed to be a city world that was not in beta.

I am in LU! I am going to create both of my main figs NOW so that no one steals my name again. I'll update this with my temp names as soon as I get them!

I hear that that world (known as Robot City) was featured at BrickCon. This makes me wonder if we'll be seeing it soon.

From what I saw, the shirt was the only Beta reward - and it is added automatically.

Yeah i played for like 7 hours. I am Steel again,a rank 1 sentinel knight. I would be higher but i tried to get A LOT of the achievements and missions down. So i still have to explore pet cove and forbidden valley.

I did about 12 minutes in AG survival today. Running and jumping REALLY works there.

That is almost impossible, or there isn't much content to play. I had to play weeks to get my blue book full in beta.

Yeah it will take me A WHILE to get down those achievements,not to mention all the sentinel rank 1,2,and 3 gear. Also just the properties.

A friend of mine was able to get all of my characters to max Tier (3) within 8-10 hours a piece, averaging 100 tokens per hour using a method of grinding I learned in Beta.

Essentially, the area just outside of the Sentinel Encampment where the two large robots are, just next to the entrance to the spider robot pit is the area I'm referring too.

This works best as an engineer, but is easily doable with any class.

First:

1) Rush through the introduction area and initial faction choosing quest. Avoid all other quests.

2) Rush straight from your new faction booth with your fresh gear and head to the Forbidden Valley.

3) Do all of the ninja quests until you receive the Numb Chuck's Maelstorm Staff from completing the Ninja mask quest which requires you to sneak into the cove at Pirate Bay to steal back the ninja's secret treasure. This Staff will automatically pull all collectible objects to your character so you're not running around to pickup items, you can focus on the next task.

4) Go back to Avant Gardens and find the area just west of the Sentinel Camp (If you're walking OUT from the camps gate). Kill the first large robot near the rock wall and make him into a turret. Run the 15-20 in-game feet and kill the second robot, turn him into a turret. Run back and forth between the two as they'll despawn by the time you're finished killing and building the other one.

If you're an engineer, drop a turret of your own in the center of both.

5) Profit.
note that you will receive almost an equal number of 'purple' bricks as you do tokens.

That means you'll really be getting 120 tokens per hour as 100 'purple' bricks equal 20 tokens after the conversion at the Paradox Booth.

Good tip MsRR, except that I haven't beaten any dragons yet for the staff.

The best profit I use is Gnarled forest, one for its high token ratio ton the medium- level world and its cannon minigame for models.
