LU won't let me play :(

LU won't let me play!
It says to create a custom name so i did. and i made a temporary name too but when i pressed play nothing happened and i changed the name several times!
Is this happening to anyone else??

I never seen this happen before.Can you still play,do it get past the play button?I think you should just delet him and make a new one.

I was able to get on, but now it is stuck at "Submitting username" And whenever I try to make a rocket, it never goes in my inventory.

Happened to me. Got to the naming screen, entered a name, picked a temporary name, and the play button doesn't respond. Still waiting for it to see if it works.

Not sure. Seems like multiple people have it, so I don't know if it's a computer issue. Gonna try again soon.

Whenever I log on, it gives me that on the loading character list. After a while it goes through, but it still won't go past the character naming screen.

LEGO did say that LU might close down for a few minutes every now and then to fix some stuff.

Yeah, but that's just for a little while every now and then. And when it's shut down, you can't even get to the character screen.

Switched my setting from download during play to full download. It's redownloading now, so I'll have to see what happens.

i can't play tonight because i'm updating our computer with windows vista SP2.Going to take a while.

Can you delet your minifig and make a new one.If you cant just make one in another person.Full download takes a long time.Is it only once or everytime you open the patcher?

No it didn't!! Hopefully they will fix whatever it is soon.. at least they know there is an issue... and I emailed them screenies of my attempt to use their fix.. ( basically my file already said what it was supposed to...)

Same issue, MsRR. I checked the file, and it said what it was supposed to. It's a different problem this time.

@Legodude: Well, it's kinda hard to delete your 'fig when you can't create one in the first place. I finished the full download without any change in results. I've also been on the LMB closed beta board and there's evidently many people experiencing this glitch.

I have the glitch with minifig deletion... It says everything was deleted of it, and it somehow is still saved.

It says it is deleted, I create a new one in its place but cannot, when I come back from creating, the old minifig is in its place.

Not for very long. The reason I am trying to delete my minifig is because when I create a rocket, it gives me nothing, not even the modules back.

When you retry it, do you open the task manager or something, since the quit button doesn't respond?

Yes.. every time I get stuck in the name loop I have to kill it with task manager...

BTW did your datafile icon look like outlook??

I have to use task manager too. It gets annoying with Windows 7 having to pick TM off that menu that pops up.

No, my file just looked like any other file without an icon. A piece of paper with a couple of colored spots on it.

Darn, I thought I might be on to something.. when I went in to edit the file as suggested, the filename for the file to edit looked like the 4 colored outlook thing..

The only time it showed me that screen was when my internet cable was unplugged. So I wouldn't know anything about your issue.

Guess what? LU told me to close and re-open the patcher because some stuff was out-of-date. When I did? EVERYTHING WORKED!!! Now off to the tutorial level (again)!

Just tried again. This time, the patcher got hung up for a little while halfway through. Then...it worked! I'm off to play LU for a little while.
