They posted about a couple of months ago on MLNO, they said The following:
-Rank 11 is supposed to come out this summer.
-It is a pirate based rank
-A new brick will be introduced.

I have not read anything from LEGO that even points to there being a rank 11? I mean, on what dates were each individual rank released? It seems to have already been too long for there to be a rank 11 - if it existed, it would have already been released ages ago.

Anyways - the pet punkling module is useless because the pet robot module is much better. Say a person has a pet robot module. Then they can find a person with a Mantle's Transmutation Pool and just click it whenever they need grey bricks.

Really, it's even better than finding a person with a pet punkling module and a Mantle's transmutation pool.

In the first case, you have a person getting one brick per click. In the second case, you're still getting one brick per click. But what makes the second case so horrible? You'll have to wait for them to upload the white brick again if you're working together with someone.

Really, what would be even better is if two people each have a pet robot and a mantle's transmutation pool. In this case, you might not be getting a better rate per click compared to pet robot + pet punkling + mantle's transmutation pool, but you're definitely going to get more bricks, since a pet robot module takes up only half as much space as a pet punkling module - you can effectively grow them faster.

Most of the time, people employed by a company work only in a certain sector - it wouldn't be impossible for the mods to not know anything about MLN.

It seems to be the case that everyone wants to have a one by one click deal on the transmutation pool, which makes absolutely no sense. It would be much better if you seek out someone without much knowledge of MLN in rank 9 - that way, you can get grey bricks whenever you want.

Also, there is supposedly a bug with the Gauntlet's Transmutation Pool, where it doesn't always give out a grey brick for the guest - another good reason to have the pet robot module and not the pet punkling module.

Ok, I know this is off-topic, but:

The Punkling is not useless. If you think about EXPERIMENTAL PRACTICE, it is BY FAR easier to obtain the quickest, than if you have the Mantles Transmuting Pool and a Friend, you can just do 1 click, harvest, 1 click, harvest etc. etc. Also, a Pet Robot would take 40 Trans and 40 Nebs for 2 slots. Much more than the 10 Trans and 1 Neb for the Punkling. 40 Trans would take a VERY long time without trading off virtually all clicks you have.

Secondly, the Gauntlets Transmuting Pool IS glitched. Not for the owner, but for the clicker. You spend around 6 White and get around 1 Gray. I know, as I've had to resort to this Pool to get bricks. I have tried it many times to see if it has been fixed recently, but it has not.

You don't need a friend, that's the point. All you need is 5 extra days for the pet punkling module. Then randomly find a person who has a Mantle's Transmutation Pool set up. And it's not 40 trans. It's 5 extra days in the beginning, while waiting another 10 days where you can still put another module besides the pet robot module while you wait.

It pays off way better to have a friend, and it benefits both of you, so you would *probably* be able to find someone who would do the deal with you. Also, it's logical to get the Punkling first, as you can:
a) Get the Punkling
b) Trade Transmuting Pool Clicks
c) Build another Lightworm
d) Quicker time to get a Robot

If you think about it, it makes sense. And FYI the Robot does require 20 Trans Bricks, and if you want 2 Robots, that's 2X20, which equals 40. Rank 11? Icon_neutral

Darn! I thought i was the first to think about the lumber needed to be used for various pirate ships and modules used within the rank also if it is pirate themed,wouldn't you need lots of gems? It's treasure duh!
