SupremeCommanderSturmBlog - The 11th Post
Hello everyone. Sorry it's been so long since I last updated this, but hey, better late than never, I suppose.
Some stuff has happened since my last post:
-I turned 14 (note to whoever moderated my age out: Iconox read this entire thing, and didn't oppose to me having my age in it)
-I learned more Calculus
-I entered the second semester of 8th grade
-I got a girlfriend
Life is generally very good. However, last year, the worst thing that ever happened to me happened: my grandma died. My friends (and to-be girlfriend) helped me through this, but I feel like God helped me the most. (See SupremeCommanderSturmBlog - The 10th Post) for more information.
My life has been a combination of great decisions and terrible decisions. Since my last blog post, wonderful stuff has happened, and terrible stuff has happened. Unfortunately, I can't go into detail on that since it's too private. I'll just say that I've been struggling with some moral issues, which I assume every teenager struggles with eventually. It's not exactly the funnest thing in the world.
Recently, I have been watching scary movies, which culminated in myself watching a horror movie last Friday. The movie horrified me so much it's put me out of my mood to watch scary movies. I won't describe the movie, or even say what it's called, because it's not suitable for this forum. I'll just say it was very scary, and even more so because it was supposedly based on a true story. It was very violent/sick as well.
In school, there have been two huge projects: Science Research Project and Language Arts Research Project. I did both on Calculus. I did my science project on testing various methods of approximating definite integration, which is Calculus II level. For my Language Arts Research Project, I wrote about the history of Calculus, the importance (and example applications) of Calculus, and I explained some of the basic, fundamental ideas of Calculus. Last Friday I turned in all my research, my rough draft, my final drafts, and my work cited pages. It was a TON of paper all together. I also turned in my Results & Conclusions for my science project last Friday, but in school we're going to be creating an official, digital lab report, and then we'll all have to give oral reports in front of the entire class.
Also, I know I have been sporadically active and not active here on MLN Team, but this time I have made the decision to stay, because I truly am happy here.
Some eventful things have happened on MLN Team as well: both good and bad. Iconox made me a Shop Monitor and gave me my current rank: "Co-Founder of MLN Team and Shop Monitor", because I am, indeed, a CO-Founder of MLN Team. Over two years ago, a forum both Mwarvik and I really liked was shut down by its owner, because he decided he didn't have time to run a forum. We were talking together on a chatbox about how sad we were, and we decided to make a new forum together. He made the founder account "MLN Team", then he made a personal account for himself "Mwarvik", then I registered, and then Banjobug registered. Both Banjobug and I are considered to be CO-Founders, since we were both the first admins and helped run the forum originally, but Banjobug isn't active here. The reason we aren't admins anymore is because, two years ago, when I was still an admin here, I found out I wasn't supposed to be an admin or a mod if I was under 13, so I removed myself from the position. Now, two years later, I am hoping to join the staff once again, hopefully in March when Iconox said they plan on opening the mod applications again.
Unfortunately, something bad has happened as well. A certain member here (whom I shall not name) insulted my girlfriend, which enraged me, so I sent him a message flaming him. I hope it is understood that I was provoked and what he said was enraging, which the staff understands, but I also understand that that was no excuse for me to do what I did. He's just a kid, and I should have been the mature one and just left him alone, instead of going after him about it. In addition, when I was discussing in a message with a staff member about what happened, the person who had said that had ticked me off so much I started using mild language in the private message conversation with the staff member, and even though it was mild language, it wasn't directed at anyone, and I wasn't actually using it on the forum, it was still wrong. Therefore, I received 2 warnings. I feel really stupid for what I did, and I am sincerely sorry. The staff say that they'll remove a warning if I don't get in any trouble for the next 4-6 months.
However, does that hurt my chances of coming on the staff? BioK told me it doesn't, because he told me he joined the staff with a notorious spam reputation (2 warnings and 64 spam points, which is worse than what I have right now). Iconox also told me that he thinks there's a pretty good chance that I'll get on the staff, and he told me I would have his vote, but he couldn't make any promises.
Also, my goal is to be the first member here to reach 10,000 posts. Don't worry, I am NOT going to spam, I'm simply going to post a lot. I have a lot of catching up to do.
I haven't been active on MLN for months, but I might become active on it once again so I can run a shop here. That's a maybe, though.
If anyone needs math tutoring, or homework help in general, send me a message, and I'll do my best.
If anyone wants to just talk to me, that's cool, send me a message and we can do that.
Thanks for taking the time to read this, and please comment on my blog.

Re: SupremeCommanderSturmBlog - The 11th Post
Sorry to hear about your grandma. You'll have a long way to go to get to 10,000 posts! That samdo guy is pretty close (7354 posts) but isn't active anymore much.

Thanks.
Yeah. I'd have a heck of a time beating him if he got active again, but for now I think I'm safe.
Re: SupremeCommanderSturmBlog - The 11th Post
LOL! you might have a tough time beating me, cause I usually post a lot. The other day I had 100 posts in a day!
Re: SupremeCommanderSturmBlog - The 11th Post
Yeah, you do have a head start on me. But once, I posted like 140 times in one day. xD
Re: SupremeCommanderSturmBlog - The 11th Post
Woah! I think the record that I've seen is 276 in a day.
Re: SupremeCommanderSturmBlog - The 11th Post
Wow, that's a lot for this forum, since it's kind of slow.tennisdude wrote:Woah! I think the record that I've seen is 276 in a day.

I guessed it was him. xD
Re: SupremeCommanderSturmBlog - The 11th Post
LOL yeah it's sorta obvious. I think he got a good amount (maybe 10) of spam points that day.
Re: SupremeCommanderSturmBlog - The 11th Post
I've read some blocks of the text and I hope that everything is alright again after the conversation with the member. If you have more problems regarding members, do directly PM a staff member that is online.
Hope that everything is going alright with your family.
Banjobug is still active, he does log in from time to time unlike the other 64% of our users.

Yeah, It is. He probably still has them. It's so odd, I haven;t seen you on today or yesterday. It seems like whenever I was off those days, you were on
