While browsing on Google today, I found something "new" from LEGO.
It's a demo to create 3D avatar.

Wow, that is really cool! I hope this develops more. Maybe Octopus (if indeed this is part of Octopus) could replace My LEGO Network . . . ?

It is not exactly new, well not for the members of the LKIC. Wink The bad thing is I can't remember what is was for. Ok, maybe I shouldn't say this, but I know there is suppose to be something related with minifig avatars in 2011. So, those are probably linked, because I don't see any other options.

For LEGO Octopus, I'm still not sure if it as something to do with this. The LEGO Avatar Demo was out way before LEGO Octopus Beta.

He either Gimped or Photo Shopped it in. Anyway, I think it is very cool. And with the CGI imaging that matches the access denied screen on octopus... I wouldn't be surprised if that is what it will be used for.
