SupremeCommanderSturmBlog - The Sixth Post [I Cooked Bacon Without Killing Myself]

Hello everyone, and welcome to the sixth post of SupremeCommanderSturmBlog. I am SupremeCommanderSturm, writer of SupremeCommanderSturmBlog.



I have decided to drop the format I've been using for most of my blog posts, and just write freely. If this doesn't work out, I may go back to the format.




So... the last few days have been a little messed up. My sleeping schedule was thrown off from a sleep over, and my mind was messed with a bit from me watching part of a rather frightening horror movie at the sleepover with my friend.

The other night I was so tired I started hallucinating and I heard some pretty scary stuff. It sounded like a demon was taunting me. I know it was in my head, but still.

Anyways, no need to depress you guys with all that.
Something MONUMENTAL happened today!

That's right everyone. I actually successfully cooked bacon for the first time without burning myself or hurting myself at all.




Now, back to a more solemn note. I'm going to visit my grandma this weekend (WOOHOO!), but I have to finish my summer project before then which I haven't even started. Heck, I've barely started reading the book, and it's a few hundred pages long. :O *Slaps self* BAD SCS! YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE PUT OFF YOUR SUMMER PROJECT! *slap* ow

Good thing you are alive, but bacon oil might be explosive...

Lol. When you're cooking bacon, you can burn yourself from the jets of steam that are shot up. Thankfully, I'm Captain Safety when it comes to bacon cooking. I wrapped a towel around my arm and used one of those heat-blocking pad things you pull out of the oven whenever I took the lid off of the frying pan. Oh, and I always pulled it off the heat and waited for the bacon to stop sizzling before I took the lid off.

Cooking bacon sure sounds like fun.

It's more fun eating it.
