Ok now I have a reason to go back to LU, after my Roblox membership runs out I am going back to LU.
I can't wait to use one of those weapons!

Once again people with 4 million will have them and people like me who buy items for silly prices to give to newbies will lose out. I'm starting to dislike how LU's mods and devs deal with these sort of things

I dislike the price, but I can buy the 4 valiant items for 600 000 coins! I have the money and tokens!

I don't think it's that bad. I mean,i was surprised when i saw the price,but i was even more surprised about better abilities,stats,AND hitting ALL ENEMIES close in front of you.
I mean even if there was a 5-5-5 weapon,the valiant weapons would still be better because it hits more then one enemy each hit,plus the abilities.

I would still buy it even if it was more,since these are the BEST weapons in the game,i would spend a lot on them. Just think,these are way better then a parrot,but yet people will pay a fortune for useless parrots,and yet complain about THIS! Come on people!

The problem is not just with the stuff being so expensive, it's how some people get all the money and prizes, and the rest of us are stuck in "poverty", and how the devs seem to constantly cater to those with more in-game money. Yes, I know that's one of the natural features of a capitalist economy, but that's why most countries don't allow unchecked capitalism. Because without checks and oversight, it just leads to elitism, victimization, scamming, and selfishness, just like it has in LU. The mods really need to address this, rather than by wasting their time on "new content". New content will not fix the basic problems; they need to address the social issues plaguing LU.

Yeah that's true...... But just like the government trying to fix social issues,the same thing will happen with LU trying to fix player to player problems. I mean sure they can fix a few things here an there,but if LU teams don't stop having an elitism mentality,and start opening more giving events for newbies,then the problem will keep on coming.

The price is a little outrageous considering you can buy about 3 Pieces of Rank 3 Faction Gear for that much, but for people who saved up after recieving all of their Faction Gear... (I did so, I got about 3K Faction Tokens, and bought all the Gear for my Factions, differing Color Patterns and all).

I do not think I will run out and by them myself. Why?? Beyond the price there is the principal. Spending all my money on weapons is a defacto endorsement of fighting as the most important part of the game. I would like emphasis on other aspects, so I probably will not support this one.

That's what I'm talking about. The devs need to try to set up contests, new releases, and other such things so that newbies/poor people and the "elites" are equally matched. I.E. Release Valiant weapons at a cheap price/make enemies easier. If the LU devs allow the WOWheads to get bored and leave, they will GAIN everyone who can't have fun while they're around. If they keep catering to the elitists, they WILL lose their ENTIRE brand-loyalty fanbase, and then when they make one slip-up the WOWheads will leave, too...and LU will die. Companies don't seem to get that sometimes, in order to reach your target audience you sometimes have to sacrifice potential customers who fall outside that target audience.

Actually i don't know exactly why they would put it at a lower price. There ARE 12 vendors in the nexus tower,and some sell GOOD weapons at all kinds of ranges. I have seen people wanting the valiant weapons anywhere from higher priced,down to 20,000.

Honestly i think that if you don't have enough for the valiant weapons,LU has set up other weapons that are almost as good.

I kinda feel like being a odd-ball when I say this, but where is the price listed?

It's not about that. It's about the fact that Lego keeps catering to the uber-elites who end up with all the money. It's not about the Valiant Weapons in particular, it's about prices and development in general.

I see your point,but then again if it were cheaper,elite people would just be flooding in awesome stuff,and newer people would have no accomplishment if they easily get it.

That's exactly what I mean. Because the millionaires are only a small percentage of the LU population, but LEGO considers THEIR complaints instead of the complaints of those of us with little money. Here's an idea, millionaires: Make Your Own Fun! Go build on a property--you don't need huge amounts of bricks to build giant models, users like Herochild have proven you can make amazing mission-based properties with just a few minifig parts and creative use of Behaviors. Or find a newbie, team up with them, and walk them through Avant Gardens. Or play Capture the Flag with your friends--using another player as the "Flag" (I actually have a simple rules involving Ninja hoods that could work very well-I'll post them when I have the time). Be CREATIVE for a change, instead of just complaining to the devs.
(To be fair, it's not just the brickzillionaires who need to leard to be more creative, it's just that the brickzillionaires are the ones who managed to get the mods to listen to them.)

Agreed...but you're one of the very few brickzillionaires who thinks that way. Most "brokers" like you are...well, they're jerks. Greedy jerks who refuse to bive their "poor" customers a break. Unless you can find a way to change their mind, it's not going to fix anything.

Well most of the more advance figs are older kids and adults,so if i were a mod,i would listen more to the reasonable and older crowd instead of complaining young noobs. Sorry to put it that way but to be honest,those who aren't millionaires and are still famous,play with creativity and are usually old kids. So i don't think they are catering to the millionaires,but they are probably listening to the older and more reasonable crowd.

Then why did LEGO price the Valliant Weapons so ridiculously high? Older users also complain about grinding, something they'll have to do a lot of to earn that much. It seems to me they're catering to older people AND millionaires.

And BTW, recognition in-game does not mean I've got millions of coins - I only have 20K.

You could earn that in earn that in a week dude. A lot of people say the game is too easy,well the put a really good weapon out,and price it at a high price,and see how it goes. Not everyone needs valiant weapons,just like many other players from other games don't NEED the best stuff right away.

I say it's worth it,and even if it's not,it's a good challenge to get the best weapons in the game.

Actually, I probably couldn't. What with videos to take, pictures to snag, friends to chat with, models to build, properties to visit, mail to respond to, along with a few real life activities, I'd have to push a majority of them aside just to get one weapon. And then my coins would be gone.

For those who can actually afford the weapons - apparently a lot of people can - it's relatively effortless to get the weapons, so I don't really see how a crazy price makes things harder.

...and in addition I am unconvinced these are the best weapons in the game. Maybe if people start using them and find that to be true, I'll be convinced. But right now I see under-stat-ified weapons being overpriced.

I'd say they're worth about 80,000 coins and 180 Faction Tokens, nothing more. But that's just my opinion.
