LUP/WBL Tool!
This might interest some of you.
After some thorough investigation, I finally found out the name of the program used by LUPs to modify terrain!
Sorry to be so... Random here, but like I said, some of you might find that very interesting.

Re: LUP/WBL Tool!
I'm assuming that it is the World Builder League.
Happy Flower? I think I saw that somewhere. I can provide the link if I can find it.

Re: LUP/WBL Tool!
Is it some kind of software you can download or a program in-game which only LUP can use?
Re: LUP/WBL Tool!
I doubt it is the same... but a link would be helpful.BioK wrote:I'm assuming that it is the World Builder League.

It is an in-game instance, and different worlds have configurations for it.Hobino wrote:Is it some kind of software you can download or a program in-game which only LUP can use?
It is listed here if you look at the drop down lists.
Re: LUP/WBL Tool!
Happy Flower is the LU level editor. Players would have no legitimate reason to use it.

Of course.MsRowdyRedhead wrote:Happy Flower is the LU level editor. Players would have no legitimate reason to use it.
But I just know some people might wanna know its name.
More of a trivia thing than anything else.
Re: LUP/WBL Tool!
I want to know what program/file format LEGO used/uses to create the CG cutscenes (i.e. the one in the game story intro). If I knew that there's a very good possibility I could learn the program, create some amazing content in it, and get a job working for Lego...
Re: LUP/WBL Tool!
Freecam. It's built in as well, and only usable on the NetDevil Trunk server (or other developer-enabled servers).Flipz wrote:I want to know what program/file format LEGO used/uses to create the CG cutscenes (i.e. the one in the game story intro). Re: LUP/WBL Tool!
It's actually a Macro called /freecam. It's not a separate program, so why would you want to Google it in the first place?

No, I'm talking about the video with the Crux Explorers, the one narrated by Partick Stewart. The same one that was used for the CES 2010 trailer. Those weren't done with in-game models, those were obviously pre-rendered. I'm considering getting Autodesk Maya to try and do some CG animation, but if their program is cheaper and/or has better features for animating Lego, then I may go with that.
