Interesting Finds in LU Game Files... :S

Okay, so I spent some time looking through the game files yesterday.

Some of them... kinda make me mad. The GM only items, to be precise...

The rest... are very interesting indeed.

Okay, so first off, my findings in Ivantest: (Too bad the mods didn't let my post through on the LMB's... Rolling Eyes

I've heard about items for mythrans such as:
Jetpack
Hat of Pwnage

There are a few more, but I don't remember the names...

Hamer of Doom, Large Jetpack, Gimme Imagination (+20 Imagination), Heal (+20 Health), Equip Buff Stats (Highest Stats Attainable), Flamethrower, Winged Helm of Speed...

Amusing how they tell us not to cheat, yet they themselves have exclusive items that basically "cheat" for them. Razz

You should see their GM-only codes. Those are really more in the form of cheating than you can possibly imagine... though I doubt they misuse them...

Have you found anything else in LU related to worlds coming soon?

Also, I wonder if you can search for the giant maelstrom spider in those files. Maybe we can shine some light on the rumors...

New Worlds:
• Nexus Tower - I read something about a section for each Faction...
• Ninjago World

Spider Boss:
• "Caged Spider" - no idea if that's involved in any way, but it was referenced.

To be honest, my main focus has been Mythran/GM related intel. I'll have to search the others more thoroughly...

Anything else you want me to look for?

Enable hidden files from your Control Panel.

Then, navigate to Program Files (x86)/LEGO Software/LEGO Universe.

The codes are typed in as "/codehere", but they only work for GM's. Believe me, even something like "/takescreenshot" doesn't work. Razz

GM are the moderator in LU, or mythran if you prefer. I think it mean "Game Master".

What file is the stuff under? I have show hidden file enabled! I get into the LEGO Universe files then I'm lost.

Well, maybe in the C:/Program Files (x86)/LEGO Software/LEGO Universe/client/locale/locale.xml or db_strings.xml you can find info on weapons. That is all what I found for now.

I'm basing my intel off of:

/client/res/Ivantest.fdb (I think that's the extension...)
/client/res/pack(s)/macrox.pk

There used to be more, but they removed a TON of stuff.

I used to have backups of the REALLY OLD game files. I regret deleting them, now...

I think I still have some old files, but from when that I don't know. What can you find interesting in old files?

Hard to find things in Ivantest.fdb, it is full of symbols!

I don't see the symbols in that file. I just found the things that I posted below.

There is no understanble things, little just randoms letters and numbers? Cause, when I open it in Notepad, there is some words and mostly randoms things.

I'm having the right program for it. I don't use notepad. I cannot tell you what program I use for that.
