LEGO Universe News from E3!

The team at Curse.com and LegoUni.com got a chance to talk with Ryan Seabury! He gave us a very descriptive presentation of LEGO Universe and everything he hopes for it to be. We also got lots of trailers and cinematics we would love to share with everyone here on mlnteam!

I did enjoy it! Got to see a lot of neat stuff. The LEGO booth was even letting people build their own minifigs.

It was available to anyone who got the media kit, but I think a lot of people were after other games. There were a lot of videos as well.

I am not a fan of the cheats,i prefer to play the game fairly. Like the vids btw,boxcargirl would totally do the farm property,i would tdo the castle still,my brother agentsam will do the western and i wonder what the last one was.

I dunno, but what I do no is that none of the codes they showed work.
(Trust me, I've tried 'em all...)

No, but if you enter the code that shows what codes are "accepted", "makegm" shows up.
It doesn't work though.
I'm guessing the codes are either only active during the E3/CES events, or that the GM's have a special build.
Otherwise, you'd think that at LEAST /runmacro fortmodel would work, since it was EXTREMELY visible...

For E3, they actually have the entire game on their computers there. It's not on the internet. Both people are playing over a net work. They do this so that there aren't any lag issues during the presentations and they can have those special macros for showing everything off without having to add them into the online client.

No, it's just to prevent any that could be there so things run smoothly. From what I remember, the internet access in the convention hall wasn't very stable and it could have been a bad presentation if they kept on being disconnected.

Wow, the properties in that cinematic were EPIC! Now I want to build an awesome LU property...
